Why do You love me so much
With all of my flaws and imperfections?
Why do You love me so much
Despite the many times in my life that I rejected You?
Why did You continue to keep me during all those times
I didn’t want to be kept?
Why is it that when You were the furthest thought from my mind,
Every pain that I had You felt?
Why do You continue to be faithful to me,
When faithful to You I’ve been anything but?
Why did You pull me out of all the mess I got into-
And You were ALWAYS on time, no matter what?
Why do You continue to breathe life into my nostrils each and every day,
When as bad as I’ve been You could keep Your breathe to Yourself and allow me to
instantly pass away?
Why do You continue to fight my battles for me time and time again
When sometimes I doubt, within myself, that You will even win?
And how come when I was less than friendly to You,
You STILL remained my best Friend?
God’s Interruption…
"Way back in Genesis when I made you, I recall saying "It is Good."
Yes-I spoke those words and because I spoke them, they became a fact.
And even though the serpent reared his ugly little head
My Son Jesus, gave His life to get you back on track.
No, you’re not perfect.
Yes, you’ve rebelled.
But I made you and you’re still good.
I’m your God and your creator and I knew you would mess up before I made you.
But through my Son Jesus, it’s STILL all good!
