As with many Christian families, it is important that we learn how to relate to each other; husband to wife, mother to child, brother to sister, friend to neighbor. To learn more about the kind of lifestyle we should lead as followers of Jesus, Overcoming by Faith provides many avenues to help us walk more in step with our Heavenly Father.
The greatest assignment given to any pastor is to make sure that five things are happening in their church.
1. They should be going or actively marching beyond their walls.
2. They should be going to the whole world to those who are spiritually lost.
3. They should be open to going to every ethnic group.
4. They should be gospel centered in their message.
5. They should be teaching those they win to Christ.
Evangelize Matthew 28:19-20
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (NKJV)
Educate Eph. 4:11 (2 Timothy 2:1)
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
Elevate Matthew 25: 35
35 'for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; (NKJV)
Real ministry is serving people. At Overcoming by Faith we believe in meeting even the simple needs of people. Our volunteers are available to reach a multitude of people with various ministries Our overwhelming love and concern for people will encourage them to have God-centered, God-controlled lives.
