Salem Community Fellowship Church Inc. was organized
October 8, 1989 at the home of Pastor Nathaniel and
Evangelist Jackie B. Small.
Twenty-six people journeyed
into
the wilderness seeking to be set apart to worship God
without bonds of traditions and ritual.
They yearned
for an opportunity to experience true worship of God,
uninhibited and without constraint.
God called Pastor Small to come out and do a
"New Thing."
New Salem was established to give All Glory, All
Praise and ALL Honor unto God.
Just as He did in the wilderness for the
Israelites, God made provisions for His people. Even when the enemy sought to cast them out of 101 Greenbriar
Court, God made a way of refuge for His people to give Him
True Worship and Praise. Pastor
Small, having a vision from God and the mantle to carry it
forth, set about to create a lasting place of worship for
God's people. Today
that vision is manifest at 115 West 40th Street.

| God in His word says, "If thou wilt delight
thyself in the Lord, I will give you the desires
of your heart.
He has answered the prayer of Pastor Small and
established New Salem as a "Touch Life
Ministry", set
apart for the Glory of God to witness to men, women, boys
and girls and to serve as a place for worship in the
beauty of holiness. To
God be the glory for
ALL he has done!! |
